Latin Dance Muscat is a group of people who got the passion for Latin Dance. We teach and Perform Latin Dance in Muscat.

Latin Dance Muscat is glad to present to you the new dance class structure starting from September 2012. At Latin Dance Muscat, we teach Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, La Rueda De Casino, Cha Cha and introduce Tango from October 2012. We conduct classes for Adults, Teenagers and Kids too.

New students do not require any prior dance experience, courses are designed to cater all levels. We accept only students who are six years and above for the kids class, other than that, there are no age, gender, race, nationality what so ever restrictions, all are welcome!

Latin Dance is a couple dance, you are encouraged to sign up as a couple, yet, it is not mandatory to register with a dance partner, as we swap dance partners in the classes.

Classes are structured in four levels as:

1. Absolute Beginner Course
2. Beginner Course
3. Pre Intermediate Course
4. Intermediate Class

Absolute Beginner Course

This class is designed for those who have no prior Latin dance experience. The course includes several dance moves from scratch which students mandatorily learn before reaching next level. This course includes Basics of Salsa and Bachata. The course consists of 8 classes. The moves will be taught in rotation, thus, a student could join any Saturday, yet should complete 8 classes to learn the Absolute Beginner syllabus. At the end of 8 classes, the instructors would decide to promote the students into Beginner Level, in case if the students are not prepared adequately, they would be advised to attend a reasonable number of Absolute Beginner classes.

Beginner Course

This class is designed for those who have prior Latin dance experience and those who successfully finished Absolute Beginner course. The course includes several dance moves which students mandatorily learn before reaching next level. This course includes Basics of Salsa, Bachata additionally some knowledge of Merengue and Cha Cha. The course consists of 8 classes. The moves will be taught in rotation, thus, a student could join any Tuesday, yet should complete 8 classes to learn the Beginner syllabus. At the end of 8 classes, the instructors would decide to promote the students into Pre Intermediate Level, in case if the students are not prepared adequately, they would be advised to attend a reasonable number of Beginner classes.

Pre Intermediate Course

This class is designed for those who have prior Latin dance experience and those who successfully finished Beginner course. The course includes several dance moves which students mandatorily learn before reaching Intermediate level.

This course is divided into 2 sessions as “Salsa – Bachata” and “La Rueda De Casino” that run parallel you could choose to attend one or both.

Salsa Bachata Pre Intermediate Course

This course is designed to prepare students for Salsa and Bachata Intermediate class.

The course consists of 8 classes. The moves will be taught in rotation, thus, a student could join any Tuesday, yet should complete 8 classes to learn the Pre Intermediate syllabus. At the end of 8 classes, the instructors would decide to promote the students into Intermediate Level, in case if the students are not prepared adequately, they would be advised to attend a reasonable number of Pre Intermediate classes.

La Rueda De Casino Pre Intermediate Course

This course is designed to prepare students for La Rueda De Casino Intermediate class.

The course consists of 8 classes. The moves will be taught in rotation, thus, a student could join any Tuesday, yet should complete 8 classes to learn the Pre Intermediate syllabus. At the end of 8 classes, the instructors would decide to promote the students into Intermediate Level, in case if the students are not prepared adequately, they would be advised to attend a reasonable number of Pre Intermediate classes.

Intermediate Class

This class is designed for those who have prior Latin dance experience and those who successfully finished Pre Intermediate course. The course includes several dance moves which students learn every week.

The class is divided into 2 sessions as “Salsa – Bachata” and “La Rueda de Casino” that run parallel you could choose to attend one or both.

Salsa Bachata Intermediate Class

The classes runs every Saturday. The moves will not be repeated unless special occasion, thus, a student could join any Saturday. Salsa and Bachata is the priority, occasionally, on demand Cha Cha, Lambada, Samba and other forms of Latin dance would be introduced.

La Rueda De Casino Intermediate Class

This class is strictly only for La Rueda Casino. The moves will be repeated, thus, a student could join any Saturday.

Argentinean Tango Course

Argentinean tango course is scheduled to commence in October 2012. The course starts as a beginners course. The time and the day are to be announced in near future. Student enrolment is now on, by calling the phone numbers mentioned at the end, you could register.

Teens & Kids Classes

Latin Dance Muscat conducts classes for Teens and kids, the kids should be above 6 years of age to join the classes. We teach, Salsa, Cha Cha, La Rueda and other forms of Latin Dancing Suitable for teens and kids.

Important:

• Personal hygiene of students is extremely important.
• Casual wear is suitable for classes.
• Dance Footwear is encouraged, casual footwear could be used, and the feet should be less friction. (You should be able to slide or spin comfortably)
• Latin Dance is a couple dance, you are encouraged to sign up as a couple, yet, it is not mandatory to register with a dance partner, as we swap dance partners in the classes.
• If you wish, you could remain as a couple only with your dance partner during the classes.
